BUSES
some buses are air conditioned, some are not.
some buses are double-deckers and nice looking, others are single-deckers and 'intimidated'.
different buses represent different kinds of potential partners we may meet along the way. there may be alot of options to get to the same destination. you may wan to take the bus that offers you the short cut and the fastest way to where you wanna go. or you may take the one tat offers you the long and comfortable ride. what's the rush anyway? another scenario may be that you tend to just jump into a bus, whichever comes first and hope to reach your destination. but lo and behold. you may end up at the same place, you may not. you might have carelessly gotten onto a bus without checking out the bus number since you are in a rush. however, the bus took you to where you do not want to be and you ended up being more desperate than ever.
isn't it the same as relationships? some pple are too eager to start on one and totally didn't consider to want to know the person better before 'getting on the bus'. if you are not in a rush, you may want to simply just wait for the one that you know will slowly but surely come your way soon. and all in all, you know you will definitely be comfortable sitting thru the bus ride until the destination is reached.
as for whether the buses are air-conditioned or not, double-decker or not. they represent the appearance of that person. does it really matter if that person is very good-looking or can make you very comfortable just for a while or during the initial stage of knowing each other? ultimately, whether the bus will break down or not. is another question altogether.
the question which has no answer until the end is... are you on the right bus?
